Antares's UWRITE Profolio
My Literacy Journey
Antares Lance

Welcome to my Portfolio!
Everyone finds themselves thinking about the life they lived in someway or another. I have grown to understand that a person can be defined from where they came from. Whether that be good or bad, I have found that my home is what makes me who I am; and that is a weird, extroverted, and undeniably accepting human being.
My name is Antares Lance and I was born and raised in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have two wonderful parents who love and understand the path I will have to take in being a multi-racial individual. My mother is half of european decent and Korean, while my father is African American. I have found it to be a great honor being able to represent each one of these beautiful ethnicities.
Within my portfolio you will find different sections in which I had devolped over the course of my first semester in U-Write 1101 at UNCC. They are seperated into different categories in which they each serve a liable cause.
Journal- Written work devolped in class that I free-handedly did to either reflect or respond to a prompt.
Feedback- Information that I, my peers, or my teacher Ms. Agosta wrote in response to work that was conceived.
Civic Literacy- Posts that show the active parcitipation in ones commuity that helps within the society such as race, gender, etc.
Projects- Multimodel artifacts that contributed to most of the semester's main goal of discourse communities and personal narratives.
Blog- Responses that I as a students wrote on based off of articles that I read.
