This week we focused on the aspects of literacy analysis. We tried to dig deeper in the special meaning of what literacy really is and how it has shaped us to who we are today. So far, when it comes to the writing that I have produced I have found that I over analyze everything. My thinking process goes beyond what I want it to when it comes to a prompt or an understanding. However, I have been working on a literacy memoir for my U-Write class and it is coming along. I am not sure if I am doing it right, but with the knowledge I had gained today from teacher (Ms. Agosta), I am sure to fix any problems I had previously made.

Some ideas that stood out to me about literacy/language was the idea of culture and how it is a big part of who you and who you become. My culture is what defines me and I am truly grateful to talk about it whenever I have a chance too. In terms of genre, a literacy memoir is seen as a storyline to your experiences. To an experience in which you have learned and grown from a something you where into something you want to become. I have found that I will have to grasp ahold of what reality is and how literacy has helped me in my journey to become who I am.
