This week in UWrite class we conducted questions that we could use in our upcoming interviews with such discourse communities around UNC Charlotte campus. Before we thought up of questions we had watched a few videos that pertained to the idea of how to interview and what to look for when looking at different communites. For example, we looked at a police video which showed policemen in action on the streets and talking to people who drove by. It was interesting to understand how each police officer had their own way of dealing with such circumstances.
Over this week, the questions me and my partners produced were based on the community of intermural volleyball. Since there are three of us we chose to participate in asking three different types of people which include:
Player Referee Capatin
Some questions are:
What made you interested in playing volleyball in the college (intermural level)?
How do you guys interact on the court differ from when your off?
Have you as a captain been able to balance your roll as a player and a captain?
Have you played volleyball before? If so How does it feel playing with those of a mediocore level?
How did you connect with your teammates when you first met them?
